In collaboration with other entities, ATTCEI undertook a study for Cascais’ Town Hall in the first semester of 2013.
Also taking part in that study were Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologias of the Nova University of Lisbon (FCT-UNL) and Nova SBE – School of Business & Economics, also from the Nova University of Lisbon.
ATTCEI coordinated the three entities’ work and took on important roles in the study, namely:
- The study of new solutions for solving the environmental passive in the Trajouce Ecopark;
- The study of the possibility of recovering and effecting territories which contain landfills and sealed dump sites, which may constitute a relevant municipal asset;
- The study of the state of the art in the energetic valuation of residues;
- The study of technical viability and potential of AMTRES’s RSUs and the residues being confined at the Trajouce landfill, through a WTE installation;
In the development of this study we counted with the participation of several of ATTCEI’s associates and collaborators, namely Prof. Carlos Nunes da Costa (eGiamb), Daniel Vendas (eGiamb), Dr. Dias Coelho (Tratolixo), Helder Careto (Geota), Alexandre Magrinho (IPS), Zdena Zsigraiová (IDMEC) and Henrique Brito de Tovar Faro (President of ATTCEI).
